K5 Apple CarPlay update headache

I got a 2021 K5, I am wondering does Kia K5 have Apple CarPlay issues still? MnSOFT emailed me an update to fix CarPlay and Nav, but not sure if it's legit or worth it.

I understand how people want to be cautious!
I know a guy with a '21 K5 who did that update and it actually messed up his CarPlay pretty bad for a while.
He had to take it to the dealer to get it sorted out!

I still have that problem on my 2022 model and don't know how to fix it. I've tried software update, resetting the infotainment system but nothing works. It's pretty frustrating so i plan to take it to the dealer. My advice, don't do the update.
