Just wondering if anyone has replaced the cabin air filter in their 2022 Kia K5 yet? If so, was it a straightforward process? Any tips or specific filter recommendations? I'm starting to notice a slight musty smell and figured it's probably time to swap it out. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Pretty straightforward, just drop the glove box, pop the cover off the filter slo, and slide the old one out. Takes maybe 5minutes. I recommend a Bosch HEPA filter it helps clear up that musty smell right away. Or try Rock Auto, they sell an AC Delco CF3327 for like under $12 (plus shipping)

Yet? The cabin air filter should be replaced once a year, maybe once every two years if you don't drive too much. No wonder you started to notice some weird smell. @marshmellow gave you some good tips and if you want a better visual explanation check out youtube videos, I found a few that helped me.

The mechanic at the dealership said I didn't have to worry too much about replacing it every year and every two years is fine. I'm not saying you don't know your stuff, but I'm guessing @Dlc5489 got this info from the dealership.
