Check engine light with no symptoms

Gave my 2021 K5 GT Line a proper wash and detail, inside, outside, even cleaned the vents but then the check engine light flicks on during my drive home, I haven't pulled the code yet cos the OBD scanner is in a friend's trunk two cities over, but I figured I'd ask, has anyone had random CELs pop up with no symptoms?

Only recent changes, I topped off gas yesterday, and I might've gone a little overboard with the hose around the engine bay, but I dont know

Not an expert, but I think there might be some water got into a sensor or plug, particularly if you washed the engine. It should go away after it dries up. Tell us the error code when you get a chance

Do you think the CEL might be from moisture getting into a sensor during the engine bay rinse, or are you leaning toward it being a coincidence with the recent fuel top-off?

If the car drives fine and there's no weird behavior, it's often nothing serious. Definitely check the code when you can, but it might just be a transient sensor alert
