X-Line drive mode stuck

The console lights on my new X-Line have gone out, and the cluster now just shows "comfort" for drive mode. I've checked every setting in the cluster and infotainment system , but nothing seems to fix it. According to the manual, if theres an instrument cluster issue, the system defaults to Comfort and won't switch modes, though it doesnt explain why or how to resolve it. I've got a service appointment coming up for the fuel line recall, so i'll mention it then, but i'm curious if anyone else has seen this happen.

Yeah, that's the cluster going into a fail safe. When it can't communicate properly, it just locks you in comfort. Dealer will need to scan it and likely do a software update or module swap
