Air blower motor not powering on what should I check

I'm having a problem with my Kia K5. The air blower motor isn't working at all, no air from the vents, no noise from the fan, nothing. Before I dive in and start taking things apart, what should I check first? Should I look at the fuses or relays?

The first thing I check when there's an electrical issue like this is the fuses.
There's usually a dedicated fuse for the blower motor, often located in the fuse box under the hood or sometimes in a kick panel inside the car.
If that looks good, then you can move on to checking the relay.
It's less common for the relay to fail, but still possible.
If both of those are fine, then you're likely looking at either a bad blower motor or a faulty blower motor resistor.
