Kia K5's a great ride especially for the price! It's got decent performance and a comfy interior, but you just have to make sure the engine and transmission are in good shape before pulling the trigger
I agree with @Champ1, the engine and transmission, and even the electronics are the first things to check! Ask the seller for service records to see if it was really well-maintained or to check if modifications have been done. Checking the VIN will also be a big help!
I don't have a 2012 one but I can assure you the K5 is perfect for you. Buy do check if recall work has been done on it before you buy. @neil.oneill is correct, you gotta check the service records. Have a professional take a look at it.
My Kia5 is pretty old too and I must tell you that it's really good for its age. It stood the test of time for me already, and even some random rainstorms I forget to put it in the garage. Keep an eye on the steering and suspension though, you really need to maintain those.
