Enjoying my K5

[Miss simple]

Just picked up my new Kia K5 and man, I gotta say , it feels like Kia really came to play cos coming from a Camry, I was a little worried I'd miss that Toyota solid feeling, but honestly, the K5 surprised me. Smooth ride, sharp looks, and the tech is way more fun.
Only problem so far? now I gotta keep a microfiber cloth in the car because those piano black trims are fingerprint magnets... feels like I'm wiping it down more than I'm driving it!

Congrats on the K5, but yeah welcome to the piano black rage club who at Kia thought shiny plastic all over the cabin was a good idea? one drive and it looks like you grilled burgers on the dash. I swear, I've spent more time buffing smudges than checking tire pressure. that said, I'll give Kia credit, this thing does punch above its weight. Coming from a camry, you probably expected a bit of a downgrade, but nah K5's got some attitude, just don't let the fingerprints win, you're in too deep now.

Hey, welcome to the K5 family! I totally get what you mean about Kia stepping up their game! And just a "pro" tip, invest in quality microfiber cloth. Cheap ones can actually scratch the glossy finish over time! Also gently dust, instead of full-on wiping to minimize streaks and swirls!

Congrats on the new K5! I agree with you though regarding the piano block panels. It's like you gotta walk on eggshells around it if it were a person LOL. Anyway, it's worth it for the vibe & look... Kia really flexed on this one.
